In 5 steps
1.- first
1) Go to a music store that rents stringed instruments. There are many. There are many violins that goes from $80 to $85 dollards.
2) Ask staff if they know violin teachers. Question in your school if they have violin lessons, if not you can search for a private instructors, or question to your neibor if they know about one.
3) Take the violin home. Pull it and the bow out of the case. And read the instructions or if not search in the internet
4) Run the bow in a downward/upward motion across the strings. Try to make it straight, like a bowling ball going down its lane.
5) Look at yourself in the mirror. You are playing the violin. Okay, maybe the sound produced doesn’t qualify as music. But understand this. You are playing the violin.
